Santé
Community guidelines
Santé is where people who travel for their sport share where they go, what they ride and what they learned. These guidelines apply to everything you post, every message you send and every profile you run here.
What belongs here
- Your own photos, movies and writing about trips, places, training and kit.
- Honest opinions, including critical ones, about places and gear.
- Messages to people about things you have in common: a trip, a stay, a route, a question.
- Recommendations that earn you commission, as long as they are labelled (see below).
What doesn’t
- Harassment
- Abuse, threats, unwanted repeated contact, or piling on somebody. If someone has stopped replying or blocked you, leave it there.
- Impersonation
- Pretending to be another person, creator, brand or business, or presenting someone else’s work as your own.
- Spam
- Mass or copy-pasted messages, fake engagement, misleading links, or messaging lots of people you don’t know to sell something.
- Nudity and sexual content
- Not here, in posts, profiles or messages.
- Illegal or dangerous content
- Anything illegal where you or the people involved are, including content that puts people at real risk.
- Undisclosed ads
- If you earn from something you post — a booking link, a referral, a brand deal — it is an ad. Santé adds the “Ad” label itself whenever a post links to something bookable or a paid partnership, so don’t work around it: don’t hide commercial relationships in captions, messages or links the label can’t see.
Blocking
You can block anyone from their profile or from a message thread, using the ··· menu. Once you block someone, neither of you can message or follow the other, and any follows between you are removed. They are not told. You can unblock them from the same menu.
Reporting
You can report a post, a comment, a profile or a conversation you are part of. Look for Report under a post or comment, or in the ··· menu on a profile or message thread.
A report goes to a person at Santé, who looks at what was reported and the context around it. We can’t promise a particular outcome or how long it will take, and we don’t tell the person you reported who reported them. If something is removed or an account is restricted, that is because it broke these guidelines, not because it was reported.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first.
Takedown requests and legal contact
For copyright and other takedown requests, legal notices, or anything you would rather not send through a report, email legal@sante.travel. Include a link to what you are asking about and why.
Leaving
You can ask for your account to be deleted from your account page. A person at Santé processes it. Your profile, posts and personal details are removed from view; records of bookings and payments are kept, because we have to keep them. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
