Years based in Mallorca
I moved to Mallorca eight years ago for three months. I never left.
I came as a semi-serious cyclist looking for somewhere to train through winter. I found the roads, the climate, the café culture, and a community that took cycling seriously without making it pretentious. I've been documenting it ever since.
My content is honest about what Mallorca is — which is the best cycling island in Europe, but also one that rewards people who know where to look and when to go. I try to give people that knowledge rather than sell them a highlight reel.
Working with Santé feels like a natural extension of that. I'm involved in vetting new cycling properties in the Balearics and mainland Spain, running events, and writing guides that I'd actually want to read when planning a trip. Marco — our road cycling expert — has final sign-off on anything I approve, which is the right structure. I know Mallorca deeply. He knows everything else.
Region expertise
- Mallorca — all circuits, including northern cape routes
- Menorca & Ibiza — cyclosportif and leisure
- Catalonia — road and gravel
- Andalucía — Gran Fondo calendar
My role at Santé
I lead events in the Balearics, write cycling destination content, and help verify new cycling properties in my region. I work under Marco Belletti, our road cycling sport expert, who approves all final listings.

A Full Week on the Cap de Formentor Circuit
Everyone rides Sa Calobra. Fewer people string the full northern cape circuit together as a week. Here's how I plan it, what to eat, and which climbs you can skip if you've only got five days.

Gravel in the Serra de Tramuntana: A Route You Won't Find on Komoot
I found this loop by accident — a wrong turn three years ago that turned into a three-hour gravel adventure. Now I run events on it. Here's the route, the surface, and what to bring.

What I Actually Use After 8 Years Riding Full-Time in Mallorca
Not a sponsored list. Just the kit that's lasted, the stuff I've replaced twice, and the things I'd tell a friend moving here to buy first.
Upcoming events
I plan these personally — routes, accommodation, transfers, pace groups. Spots are limited and usually fill quickly.
Mallorca Spring Cycling Camp
Alcúdia, Mallorca
Seven days in northern Mallorca at the start of the season. A mix of group rides, route flexibility, and social evenings. I run this twice a year and it's always full by January.

Sóller, Mallorca
A single-day event for people who want to climb Sa Calobra properly — from sea level, with time at the top, and a descent worth celebrating. Includes transfers and a post-ride lunch.

Guide Partners operate within a structure, not above it.
My role is broader than a typical brand partnership. I contribute to the curation process — meaning I assess properties, write editorial, and run events — but all of that sits within a framework set by Santé's Sport Experts.
Marco Belletti has final sign-off on every cycling listing on the platform. That includes the ones I've assessed. I think that's the right way to do it — it means the standard stays consistent even when my personal taste might vary.
What I do
Assess properties, write destination guides, run events, engage the cycling community on Santé
What I don't do
Final approval on listings — that sits with our road cycling expert, Marco Belletti
How we're held accountable
My name is attached to every listing and article I work on. That's by design.
